Rhododendron orbicularis
The larger rhododendrons make the backbone of many a fine garden. We concentrate on species, not hybrids, where possible grown from wild seed. Rhododendron orbicularis is known as the Round Leaved Rhododendron, with deep rose-pink flowers and orbicular leaves. It grows to a dense rounded bush. Found in Sichuan and Guanxi, discovered by Pere David and brought to the UK by Wilson.
