Availability The sale of all plants and bulbs listed is subject to crop success and being available when the order is
processed. We cannot be held responsible if previously ordered plants are not available at the time of
delivery. Orders will be made up according to date received.
Dispatch of plants We send plants throughout the year. Weather permitting we process orders within three weeks. In
early summer and at show times there may be delays; we keep customers informed by email.
Please indicate if you require any special delivery dates, when you place your order.
Plants are normally sent either by Royal Mail or by courier service provided by APC. For mainland UK
this is a next-day service, for offshore UK at least two working days. Please give phone numbers and delivery instructions, as we cannot accept responsibility for damage
caused by delay because you are not at home. If your address is hard to find, please give directions.
Risk passes to the customer when the parcel leaves the premises of Kevock Garden Plants. Please
inspect the parcel on arrival. If there is obvious damage note this as you sign. Otherwise sign as
‘unchecked’.
Cancellations and complaints UK law gives you the right to cancel an order placed on-line. The cancellation period is 14 days from
receipt of your goods. Your plants should be examined on receipt and problems notified in writing. The
goods must be returned, and the customer pays for the return shipping. No refunds are considered
after this point. Agreed refunds are made within two working days. Every effort is made to keep plants disease and pest free and to identify stock correctly, but with
diverse sources problems can arise. Some colour variations occur in seed-grown material. Rare
plants are a challenge to grow and keep. Success is not guaranteed. Compensation is limited to the
price paid for the plants and not for any consequential loss.
Prices Prices and pot sizes may change change in the course of the year. There is no VAT for private customers. We are registered for 4% Farmers’ flat rate and ask for trade
customers’ VAT status.
Payment If you order plants through our on-line store, payment will be made using either PayPal or Connectpay
(who process debit and credit card payments). If you already have an account with Paypal, you can
use it in the normal way. Otherwise you will register your details (including card information) with
them. This is completely secure. If ordering with an order form, whether this is emailed or a paper copy and posted, you may pay by
cheque or phone to make a card payment. Cheques should be made payable to Kevock Garden Plants Ltd. To allow for items being out of stock,
it is best if you leave the amount to be paid blank, and cross the cheque ‘Not to exceed £xxx’, where
£xxx is the maximum value of the order. If you want us to substitute for any items no longer available, please allow a couple of pounds leeway.
We will not cash cheques or take payment from a credit or debit card until shortly before dispatch of
your order |
