Alchemilla faroensis var. pumila

beautiful plants known for their scalloped, bright green leaves (which catch any passing raindrops) and their frothy tiny green or yellow-green flowers. A tolerant genus, useful in many garden situations.

Alchemilla faroensis var. pumila is a lovely dwarf variety from the Faroes and E Iceland. It has rich deep-green foliage with fine silvery hairs, especially visible around the edges of the leaves so they look as if they have a silver margin. It has small, compact green flowers. It tolerates drought, so it can survive in dry conditions like walls.
