Narcissus jonquilla var. henriquesii (jonquilla)
As with so many plants, the wild species have elegance and simplicity, although they may not have the exuberant size and colour of cultivated forms. Narcissus Division 13 is reserved for these species, and we offer lots of them. We have put a few of them, such as Narcissus bulbocodium forms, into groups that contain their cultivars and hybrids, if these are often similar to the parents. Narcissus jonquilla var. henriquesii (jonquilla) is an attractive species with 2-4 deep yellow flowers per stem, distinguished from other jonquils by its rather longer corona. Sweetly scented.
