Nandina domestica 'Sunset Boulevard' is a dwarf shrub from China and Japan and is in a genus of its own. Known as the Heavenly bamboo, this evergreen plant has pinnate leaves which emerge coral pink to red / sunset, and mature to various shades of green. The starry white flowers with prominent yellow anthers are follwed by bright red fruits that last well into winter.
