Meconopsis 'P. C. Abildgaard' is a strongly-growing, tall variety in the Infertile Blue Group, similar in many ways to M. 'Slieve Donard' and M. 'Bobby Masterton'. They all are pure sky blue, with four broad petals, but with up to 7 flowers per whorl in this cultivar.

Excellent blue poppy with lovely pure sky-blue flowers.
