Eucryphia 'Penwith'

Eucryphia 'Penwith' flowers profusely for many weeks leading into autumn. It bears single white, saucer-shaped flowers (5 cm across) with noticeable stamens. The glossy dark green leaves are really quite nice as they are narrowly lance-shaped enough so as to not hide the flowers. A cross between E. lucida and E. cordifolia. Requires a warm position and shelter from cold winter winds.

Superb deciduous shrub/tree with large open white flowers; lovely foliage.
