Darmera peltata

Darmera peltata is a vigorous, architectural plant for a wet place, spectacular in spring, when tall shoots arise, with big heads of many small, pink flowers. These are followed by the dinner plate-sized leaves, one on each stem, held horizontally. It spreads slowly by thick rhizomes.
