Daphne x schlyteri 'Lovisa Maria'
These are dwarf daphnes, all wonderful plants for growing in the rock garden or in pots in an alpine house or greenhouse. They are neat shrublets, with fine foliage and clusters of scented flowers, rich pinks in most varieties, although there are white ones. Some have coloured fruit. Daphne x schlyteri 'Lovisa Maria' is a cross between Daphne cneorum and Daphne arbuscula. compact shrub, Low and spreading to as much as a metre across, with small, deep green leaves, the stems terminated with dense clusters of rosy pink flowers, which are wonderfully scented.
