Blechnum penna-marina subsp. alpinum

Blechnum penna-marina subsp. alpinum is a variety from south-east Australia of a species found most of the way round the southern hemisphere, this is a great ground-cover plant for a cool, shady place. It is sometime known as the alpine water fern. The pinnate leaves are mid to dark green.

Lovely ground-cover fern with fresh green pinnate leaves, bronze when young.
