Armeria maritima subsp. sibirica

A genus that includes our native sea pink or thrift, often seen on coastal rocks. They make mats of bright green grassy foliage, with lots of pink or white button flowers, usually on short stems.

Armeria maritima subsp. sibirica is a pale form of the 'sea pink', found in dry stony places, heaths and alpine meadows.
