Transform your garden with skilful design and inspired planting plans. We specialise in rock gardens, stream sides and woodlands, creating fabulous planting lists to give colour all through the year. We work very closely with clients, helping them to develop their own ideas, to create the garden that they want. Recently we have been involved in a number of exciting historic rock garden restorations.
We also create whole gardens, working with landscape architects and garden designers.

We renovate and restore established rock gardens, which have often become overgrown. We also create new rock and crevice gardens from scratch, in a wide range of contexts, ranging from small urban gardens, to large country estates.
Rock garden restoration Recently we restored a 100 year old rock garden, clearing borders and resetting rocks, whilst retaining wonderful
established Acers and other treasured plants.
We then added in flowering shrubs, alpines and bulbs to achieve colour and flowers every day of the year.

Ponds, streamsides and marshy areas offer both challenges and opportunities. We can work with you to develop surprisingly colourful planting schemes in these wet environments.
A damp garden area.In our own garden, we have created soft, lush plantings full of colour in our damp borders.
A wide range our plants thrive in these conditions. Here we have used many different Primulas, Irises and ferns.

We can suggest varied planting combinations for cool and shady conditions, under and around trees.
Urban woodland garden
Here an urban garden was transformed by soft woodland planting. Cool colours were used to create a calm atmosphere,
with foliage giving different textures. Bulbs and shade loving perennials offer a range of colour throughout the year.
