Aconitum fischeri
The monkshoods are good perennials, slowly forming multi-stemmed plants. Some are tall species, and at the other extreme there are dwarf, high-altitude alpines. All have spikes of characteristic hooded flowers. Aconitum fischeri is a compact species with spikes of lavender-blue hooded flowers. It is native to Korea and Siberia and can have numerous flower spikes in the autumn.
