Lewisia 'Brynhyfryd Hybrids'

Two hybrids of two different Lewisia species are hand-pollinated by Matthew Ruane at Brynhyfryd Nursery to give these distinctive plants, which produce short-stemmed flowers between the leaves in a long succession through the summer. The flower colours are varied, from pure white through pale pinks to very intense, deep pink, almost red. White and yellow forms were developed, and these are labelled accordingly.

Lewisia 'Brynhyfryd Hybrids' have flowers with a wide range of colours - magenta, pink, red, white, purple, yellow, orange, with some fertile double-flowered forms included. Some have broad leaves showing some Lewisia cotyledon parentage, and others have narrower leaves. A glorious mixture.
