Imperata cylindrica 'Rubra'

Loose clump-forming grass. The new leaves start off bright green but soon start to colour a firey red from the tips down, p[roviding a striking two-toned effect. Fluffy panicles of silvery spikelets are borne in late summer. Provide a protective winter mulch in cold areas.
