Aster frikartii 'Mönch'

This is a reliable aster for late summer colour in a border. Sprays of daisy-like, lavender-blue flowers, on stout stems, smother the foliage in late summer. A big advantage of this variety is that the leaves tend to be more disease-resistant than in other varieties.
