This iris has pale purple flowers with darker veins in the large falls, the standards being very small. Like many of these irises, it needs moisture to grow well, but must have sun to flower well.
Iris hookeri is a much shorter form of Iris setosa, no more than 20 cm, but still with broad leaves.
