Bulbinella hookeri A good rock or peat garden plant that does best in acid soil. From New Zealand, it has fleshy, linear leaves and in spring it produces dense racemes of starry, bright yellow flowers that last throughout the summer. Apply a winter mulch of leaf mould to provide protection.
