Saxifraga aizoides var. atrorubens The yellow Mountain Saxifrage is British native, almost ubiquitous in wet, stony places in the Scottish hills. Occasionally one comes across plants that have orange rather than yellow flowers, and even more rarely, red ones. This is red form. It has the usual fleshy leaves, and masses of starry flowers.
