The rhubarbs include some small alpine species, and some dramatic giants. They all provide unusual and interesting structure, often with good autumn colour.
Rheum SDR1863 is a dwarf species from high altitude in the mountains, which has shiny green leaves and red stems - just like a rhubarb should. The flowers stems are lightly branched, and carry a mass of small, pink flowers.
