Arenaria balearica
Currently this plant is unavailable. However, we may have it in the future, so please if you wish to be added to a wish list.

The genus Arenaria, known also as Irish Moss, or less attractively Sandwort, consists of plants that are usually mats or tight cushions of tiny leaves, with short-stemmed starry flowers, usually white. They make excellent rock garden plants.

Arenaria balearica likes a partially shaded site in a rock garden, where it will make an evergreen, mossy carpet of quite dark green leaves, which has lots of short-stemmed, white flowers. It is known as the Corsican sandwort - which doesn't quite fit with its Latin name!
