Rhododendron bureavioides
Currently this plant is unavailable. However, we may have it in the future, so please if you wish to be added to a wish list.

The larger rhododendrons make the backbone of many a fine garden. We concentrate on species, not hybrids, where possible grown from wild seed.

Rhododendron bureavioides is grown primarily for its foliage, and is a gorgeous plant all through the year. It has thick indumentum under the leaves, of a rich chestnut brown, and there is a silvery layer on the upper surface of the leaves. For good measure, there are pale pink flowers.
