Globularia nudicaulis

These have round (globular) heads made up of a mass of tiny flowers, almost always smoky blue, on short stems above mats of small leaves. They are always popular.

Globularia nudicaulis is a species with dark green, spoon-shaped leaves and pompoms of powder blue flowers. Great for a rock garden.
