Edraianthus graminifolius subsp. graminifolius

This is a genus of small mountain plants, related to Campanula, with tufts of grassy leaves and fine bell flowers, usually blue. All are good for rockeries, raised beds and troughs. They mainly come from the Balkans.

Edraianthus graminifolius subsp. graminifolius is a tuft-forming perennial with prostrate stems which bear upward-facing violet-blue bellflowers. For the the rock garden or rock crevices in a dry, sunny position. Needs protection from winter wet.
