Deschampsia cespitosa

Known as tufted hair-grass or tussock grass, this is a decorative species that is found wild in North and South America, Eurasia and Australia. It makes quite short, tight tufts of bright green leaves, with much taller, airy, light brown stems carrying the flowers and then the seeds.

Lovely, airy, bronze inflorescences.
