Anemone multifida 'Rubra'
This group of plants includes Anemone multifida, a species from the west of America right the way down to Patagonia, with hairy, multiply divided leaves, and upright stems with just a few flowers on each stem. The flowers are usually white or cream, but there are red forms. The group also includes some other excellent species of medium height. Anemone multifida 'Rubra' is what you would expect; a form with red flowers.
