Anacyclus pyrethrum var. depressus

Often known as Anacyclus depressus, this is a fine daisy from Morocco for a sunny place in the rock garden. It makes a loose mat of spreading stems, with small, highly dissected leaves. The rays of the many daisy flowers are red underneath, so the red buds contrast with the white and yellow of the open flowers.

Mat of highly dissected leaves, large daisies with red buds.
