Most members of this genus are grown for their foliage, and there is a huge range of varieties with exotic coloured leaves. They make great ground cover, or can be used to soften the edges of paths. See also the closely related Tiarella, and x Heucherella, which are hybrids of Heuchera and Tiarella.
Heuchera 'Can-can' has maroon and silvery grey foliage with strongly ruffled edges. Compact habit.
