Allium moly

These are species and varieties of onions with that do not grow very tall, and may be suited to use in a rock garden or riased bed, or growing in pots. They have clusters of flowers with pointed petals, which may be white, pink, purple, blue or, in a few cases, yellow.

Allium moly is an easy and pretty, small onion for a dryish place - sometimes said to be too easy, but we have never found it to be a problem, and we have grown it for over 30 years. As with all onions, if you don't like it, eat it! It makes clump of grey-green leave
