Primula orbicularis is a beautiful relative of Primula chionantha, with soft, yellow flowers, deeper yellow towards the centre, in a single umbel. Recently reintroduced to cultivation, it has been grown and flowered well, but we find that it does not persist in sites where Primula chionantha flourishes. Perhaps it needs more moisture.
Silvery leaves and pale yellow flowers with deeper yellow centres.
