A small genus, with pretty blue starry flowers in spring, looking great against the fresh foliage. They gradually spread into clumps, and if you are fortunate you will get a few self-sown seedlings as well.

Omphalodes lucilliae is a particularly beautiful alpine bearing a succession of sky-blue flowers above blue-grey foliage.
