The rock roses are excellent and easy plants for a sunny place in a rock garden or raised bed. There are many different bright colours of flowers, and some have greyish leaves.

Helianthemum 'Cerise Queen' is a double-flowered form with very bright pink flowers (one hesitates to say lurid), with yellowy-orange centres, over rich green, narrow leaves.

invisible.gif Helianthemum 'Rhodanthe Carneum' is also known as Helianthemum 'Wisley Pink' and has silver-grey foliage and large pink flowers, with an orange centre.
invisible.gif Helianthemum 'The Bride' is well-named as the delicate, pure white flowers have a taffeta-like quality; with siver-grey foliage. Very pretty.
