Digitalis ferruginea

Digitalis ferruginea is a foxglove from southern Europe, with spires of reddish brown flowers (as its name implies), pale yellow, heavily spotted with red-brown, inside the 'fingers'. It is one of the few plants that are suitable for dry places in at least partial shade, although it will also take full sun.
