This is a good cultivar of a plant sometimes known as bee balm, whose flowers attract bees and butterflies (and hummingbirds as well, although that doesn't help our European customers). The flowers, which are a strong, dusky pink colour, are produced abundantly, from mid summer, for many weeks, even months if some dead-heading is done.
