This hybrid of Lewisia longipetala and Lewisia cotyledon has long, fairly narrow, fleshy leaves, making a rosette, from which come the stems carrying loose sprays of flowers, pale peach coloured, with red veins. It flowers in the spring, but as with many Lewisias, a second show is produced after the first flowering stems have withered away. Its great virtue is its ability to thrive outside without any protection, whereas many Lewisias need a sheltered crevice.
