The so-called 'Dutch' irises provide bright colour in late spring or early summer. Each strong, upright stem produces a short succession of flowers, with a good range of colour from the available varieties.

		Iris 'Tigereye' is dramatic and unusual, with its dark purple flowers heavily streaked with bronze, and a yellow blotch. It makes a great contrast with other Dutch irises.
