This is a species from the west of America, with hairy, multiply divided leaves, and upright stems with just a few flowers on each stem.

Anemone narcissiflora is quite like the European Anemone narcissiflora, but comes from Turkey. It makes mounds of dissected leaves, pale green, and has heads with a few white or cream, very occasionally pink or purple, flowers. A good plant for a moisture-retentive soil.
