| Muscari armeniacum 'Blue Pearl' has deep, dark blue flowers. | |
| Muscari armeniacum 'Blue Spike' has double flowers, bright cobalt blue. Some people dislike doubles, some rave about them. If you are in the latter half of the population, you will like this. | |
| Muscari armeniacum 'Christmas Pearl' is an unusual violet blue in colour, first flowering in March. | |
| Muscari armeniacum 'Côte d'Azur' is not quite the colour of the sea indicated by its name, but ir is a good, clear blue, most attractive. | |
| Muscari aucheri 'Ocean Magic' is a lighter, more turquoise blue than most grape hyacinths, but what sets it apart are the top few flowers on each stem, which are white or extremely pale blue. | |
| Muscari 'Blue Star' is larger and more robust than most grape hyacinths, in a strong blue colour. | |
| Muscari comosum 'Plumosum' is a remarkable flower, with a plume of many feathery, purple strands. It is sometimes known as the tassle hyacinth. As it is sterile it doesn't seed around, and the flowers last well. | |
| Muscari macrocarpum 'Golden Fragrance' is the Yellow grape hyacinth with spikes of sulphur-yellow flowers, opening from violet buds; flowers are more tube-shaped than other muscari. | |
| Muscari pseudomuscari has flowers that are quite pale blue at the top of the spike, and are darker lower down. It has also been known as Muscari chalusicum, and it has also had its own genus, Pseudomuscari. |
