Two giant pandas have just arrived at Edinburgh Zoo from China. Tian Tian (Sweetie) and Yang Guang (Sunshine) have moved into their new home. They were reared at the Panda Breeding and Research Station in Sichuan.

There are separate enclosures for the two pandas, surrounded by landscaping. We were pleased to be asked to provide much of the planting for this area.
The two enclosures have a link, and it is hoped that in good time the pandas will meet, and the pitter-patter of tiny feet will follow. Really tiny feet. Baby pandas are extremely small. Here is one in an incubator at the Research Station.
